Locating in the center of coastal provinces of South Central region: bordering Phu Yen province to the North, Daklak province to the Northwest, Lam Dong province to the Southwest, Ninh Thuan province to the South and the EastSea to the East.
Lying between two big cities: Ho Chi Minh City and Da NangCity with 448 km away from Ho Chi Minh City to the South and 530 km from Da Nang to the North.
Seaway in Khanh Hoa – Viet Nam is close to international maritime routes, facilitating development of ports, cargo circulation and seaway tourism.

Khanh Hoa enjoys tropical monsoon climate, fewer storms and natural disasters, less flooding with average annual temperature of 26.5 0C; rainy season happens in October and November with average annual rainfall of around 1,030 mm; owning three famous bays: Nha Trang bay which is recognized as one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Cam Ranh and Van Phong bays encompassing by a mountain range which make them deep and airtight, creating favorable conditions for Khanh Hoa province to develop marine economy, especially tourism-services, aquaculture, ship building industry and establishment of sea ports of international stature.
Tourism - Services: Khanh Hoa tourism has developed comprehensively, reflecting the role as a key economic sector of the province, playing an important part in tourism of central region provinces and Central Highlands. Turnover in tourism, recreational activities in 2015 achieved USD 310.5 million, total number of tourists reached 4.1 million visitors per annum, of which 974,000 visitors were international ones.
Fishery: Gross output of fishery in 2015 achieved USD 245.2 million. Gross output of fishery from wild capture and aquaculture production reached 88,975 tons and 13,679 tons respectively (mainly fish and shrimp).
Shipbuilding industry: Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard (HVS) in Khanh Hoa is one of the largest shipyards in Vietnam and in Southeast Asian region, capable of building new vessels up to 80,000 dead-weight tones. Around 10-15 ships are newly built every year by this shipyard.
3. HumanResourceTrainingCenter of Central Region and Highlands: infrastructure and diversified training forms are available: 7 universities, 6 colleges, 4 research institutes, 9 professional secondary schools, 49 vocational schools, Khanh Hoa province is considered sufficient to meet the demand on human resource training of investors.
4. Consistent transportation infrastructure:
Khanh Hoa province lies on the north-south traffic axis with respect to roadway, railway, seaway and airway.
Roadways: Khanh Hoa is blessed with a favorable geographical location, lying on National Highway No1A linking northern, southern provinces and neighboring ones nationwide; National Highway No.26 is the gate to connect to Central Highland provinces (Dak Lak, Gialai, PlayKu, Dak Nong…); in addition, road section of Khanh Le - Lam Dong is also the gate to connect to three provinces of which tourism has developed most, saying Ho Chi Minh city, Da Lat city and Nha Trang city.
Railways: North-South railway runs across the whole length of Khanh Hoa province and Nha Trang railway station is one of the biggest one, ensuring goods and passenger transportation to other locations and provinces nationwide.
Airways: Cam Ranh International airport is one of the fourth busiest airports in Vietnam by passenger traffic; over the past few years, number of passengers going through CamRanhInternationalAirport has increased remarkably between 50 and 60 percent per year. In 2015, the figure of passengers going through the airport reached 2.7 million passengers. Up to August, 2016, this number has achieved 3.4 million, in which international passengers are 1.5 million people. On average, there are about 33 flights, of which 18 international flights are from Russia, Hong Kong, China and Korea.
NhaTrangPort: capable of accommodating ships of up to 20,000 DWT.
CamRanhInternationalPort: capable of accommodating ships of up to 30.000DWT.
Van Phong International Transit Port: a wharf capable of accommodating ships of up to 50.000 DWT is under construction.
